2026 Season Recap: A Season to Remember

As the 2026 season comes to a close, the West Michigan Baseball League sends a huge thank-you to every player, coach, sponsor, and volunteer who made this another outstanding season of recreational baseball.

A special thank-you goes to all 14 teams, their managers, and their sponsors. Your commitment and support are what make the league possible. Together, you are helping keep recreational baseball alive and well in West Michigan.

It was a terrific season from start to finish, with all 92 of the 92 scheduled games played.

City Division Congratulations to the Vipers, who successfully defended their City Division championship. The Vipers capped off an outstanding season by defeating Praise Sign 3-0 in a close, well-pitched championship game. They were a force throughout the season, finishing the division virtually wire to wire and ending with a 13-4 overall record. The Vipers offense and pitching combined to outscore their opponents 131-51 over the course of the season. Congratulations to the Vipers on another championship and an incredible title defense.

40+ National Division Congratulations to Stedfast Construction, the 2026 40+ National Division champions. Stedfast Construction put together a remarkable season, leading the division wire to wire and finishing just one game short of a perfect record at 11-1. In the championship game, Stedfast outscored the defending champion Naturals 12-3 to claim the National Division trophy. They also dominated offensively throughout the season, outscoring their opponents 115-40.

40+ American Division Congratulations to the Brew City Blues, your 2026 40+ American Division champions. The Blues closed a strong season by defeating The Westsiders 11-1 in the championship game. The Westsiders made their second consecutive trip to the championship game, earning their spot by knocking off the always-tough Winberg Construction, last year’s champions. The Brew City Blues led the division wire to wire and finished the season having outscored their opponents 102-53. Congratulations to the Blues on a well-earned championship!
